Ah! The great ballad. The intro guitar solo is probably the most energetic and the longest on the whole EP. Sonically it's a mix of r&b, funk and rock sounds. After the wild solo comes the quick, haunting break that leads into the body of the song. The lyrics center around a personal of heartbreak and disappoinment, and the zeal to move on. Yeah I tried singing very differently on this one, with lots of falsettos especially in the bridge section. You can feel the intensity rise throughout the song until it climaxes at the final chorus and solo. Hope someone can empathize with this song, and that we can lick each other's wounds. Expect to hear lots of sonic treats on this one!
