ÀLỌ́ is a Yoruba word, equivalent to “folklore” or “story”. Back-home in Nigeria we would be so happy to hear ÀLỌ́ from our elders. Now I’m using the same art form to shed light on Naija’s and T&T’s ever present atmosphere of violence, caused by prior oppression. More truths to be told.
