Nolan Rashawn is a contemporary R&B/soul singer-songwriter-musician from Fairfield, California. He began singing at the age of 20 while completing his undergraduate degree in civil engineering at the University of California, Davis. Upon completing his degree, he moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue a singing career. In Los Angeles, he made a name for himself singing at open mic events, sleeping in studios, and performing in and around the city. He signed his first music deal a few months later. Rashawn’s music focuses heavily on the emotional aspect of relationships and his experience as a young man coming of age in the Bay Area. His lyrics blend emotional depth with the ambitious humility of his voice, mirroring his life, in all of its turmoils and triumphs.
