Audiomack has put together a playlist of 20 up-and-coming artists from Jamaica.

Continuing our mission of going global to move music forward, Audiomack turns to Jamaica to spotlight some of island’s best rising hip-hop and Reggae acts. Packed with 20 names that all have the potential to be your new favorite artist, common threads of dancehall, tactful use of auto-tune, brightness, and infectious melodies tie all of these artists together.

Taking a closer look at some of these names, we find 17 year old singer, Koffee. Her mission, in her own words: “I hope to touch the hearts of my Jamaican family first and by extension the universe… It is really just my dream to be the musical vessel that will make a very good and notable change in society.”

Alongside her we have Shenseea, a DJ, reggae, and dancehall performer. Her single “Solo” boasts a monstrous flow and a viral music video. Listening to these two women, and the rest of the playlist, should serve as a reminder that there is so much talent to be discovered when we step outside of our bubbles.
