Dax is a lyricist. After basketball dreams fizzled out, the Ottawa native pivoted his work in poetry and spoken word to a rap career, where he's found immense success online as a passionate wordsmith with a knack for marketing his music. In 2019, he spent most of the year on the road, both as a headliner and as an opener for Tech N9ne, while continuing to crank out new songs and videos.

Earlier this month, Dax released I'll Say It For You, a new seven-track EP released independently. Before that, though, he sat down with us in Los Angeles to break down some of his tattoos and get a fresh new "Co-Sign Yourself" tat for Audiomack Ink.
