The rising Dallas rapper breaks down his influences and his mantra of hard work in a new interview with Audiomack.
Rising Dallas rapper Yella Beezy is revamping what it means to be a regional hit. From his drawl to his writing, Beezy is the epitome of Dallas hip-hop, and his charisma and slick on-camera persona make him poised to take Dallas to international heights. Yella Beezy recently stopped by the Audiomack studio in Soho to talk about his newfound national fame and fatherhood, and never being comfortable with his level of success.
“The fame part don’t even get to me,” Beezy admits with a smile. “I still feel like I got a lot of work to do. I ain’t comfortable, and I ain’t satisfied,” he adds. Beezy plans on hustling until he reaches a point of comfort, but knows there’s a long road ahead of him. Even so, Yella Beezy’s ultimate goal is longevity and a sustained career. Plenty of rappers can roll up with a hit and cash a check, but for Beezy, it’s deeper than fading away as a one-hit wonder.
