Large concerts may be a long way away before considered safe again, but that doesn’t have to stop the unforgettable atmosphere one can only find at a music festival.
Audiomack presents the first-ever Ravecation festival premiering on November 19, live on our YouTube channel. From 1 to 4 p.m. EST, tune in to catch exciting performances by three electronic powerhouses: DJ mOma, BLVK JVCK, and Promnite.
First up, at 1 p.m. EST, we have the Sudanese-born, Queens, New York-raised DJ mOma. The eclectic DJ/producer comprises his sets of a wondrous blend of hip-hop, dancehall, afrobeats, soca, baile funk, soul, R&B, disco, house, and international sounds to keep the party jumping. mOma’s unique experience has allotted him various residencies across the states as well as the respected title as an official DJ and A&R for J. Cole’s Dreamville record label.
For Ravecation, DJ mOma’s 60-minute set of Amapiano & Afrohouse will feature Belgian saxophonist Nuri Sax as the pair groove their way through an hour’s worth of vibes and riddims.
Next up, at 2 p.m. EST, we have the Miami-based electronic music producer BLVK JVCK. After years of creating as one half of the legendary hip-hop and R&B production duo The Runners, Jermaine “Mayne Zayne” Jackson has pivoted to the world of dance music under the moniker BLVK JVCK. Early singles “Mind Games” and “Mine Luv” showcase the infinite potential the Florida native has carried throughout the course of his career.
For Ravecation, BLVK JVCK takes the vibes to another level with a high-spirited set filmed in an abandoned Miami warehouse, shot beautifully in black and white.
Last but certainly not least, at 3 p.m. EST, we have New York-born, Los Angeles-raised Promnite. The producer born Paul “PJ” Sledge has been making hits and seducing dance floors since 2014. After the release of his 2017 EP, Snake Charmer—with features from rappers Denzel Curry and Adam Vida—Promnite began to see success while creating a name for himself in the pop-production sphere. With production credits on songs featuring Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Quavo, and Lil Yachty, Promnite has proved time and time again he’s only getting started.
For Ravecation, tune into Promnite’s lively hour-long set shot at the Doperoots Studio in Los Angeles for 60 minutes of bouncy tunes from the Team Supreme producer.
These lively performances are just what we all need to keep our spirits high and the positive vibes alive. Join us this week to get lost and found in the zestful music and gorgeous footage that brings the much-needed nostalgic summer feels previously lost to a relentless 2020.
