Spanish Town native Nation Boss is of a rare breed. The Jamaican-born artist’s success was seemingly by accident, after a rough recording of his 2021 song “Humans” went viral unbeknownst to him.

While doing numbers online, “Humans” caught the ear of acclaimed dancehall producer Troublemekka, who helped cultivate the single into the clean-cut riddim we love today. Since then, Nation Boss has kept the momentum going, releasing singles “Faith” and “Emotions,” the latter featuring Bless The Yaad alum Yaksta.

For Bless The Yaad, Nation Boss proves that despite being a newcomer, he has the lyrical dexterity to become a reggae mainstay.
