Listen to Tory Lanez’s ‘March 2nd’ EP

By Donna-Claire Chesman on February 13, 2018

‘March 2nd’ is a great snapshot of Lanez’s expansive artistic energy.

Teasing your album with a single is one approach, but for Canadian rapper-singer Tory Lanez, an EP is all the better. A teaser for his upcoming sophomore record, Memories Don’t Die, March 2nd is a great snapshot of Lanez’s expansive artistic energy.

An artist who can croon with the most emotionally vexed of them, and spit with a biting fervor, Lanez makes his range known on this EP. Title track, “March 2nd” is a barfest, while “Leaning” and “More Than Friends” are winding clinics in holding all the right notes. If March 2nd is any indication, Tory Lanez plans to shine brightly on all sides with his sophomore album.

Memories Don’t Die releases March 2nd, and features Future, 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa, and more.
