The Art of Bars playlist showcases fifty high energy and biting tracks where the artists are rapping at their peak.

Audiomack’s The Art of Bars playlist showcases fifty high energy and biting tracks where the artists are rapping at their peak. This playlist goes coast to coast and region to region, picking out some of the best flows and lyricists.

Standouts on the playlist include G Herbo’s haunting track “Red Snow” and Joey Bada$$’ “ROCKABYE BABY,” where the ScHoolboy Q feature connects the coasts within a maelstrom of bars. Isaiah Rashad’s half syrupy, half hyped “Park” also proves that hard-hitting lyrics and wordplay don’t belong to the East coast.

Representing the very best of the Florida underground, Denzel Curry’s politically minded and distorted “Hate Government” is one of the most aggressive offerings. By contrast, Mick Jenkin’s sinuous “Drowning” highlights the power of taking your time on a verse.

Make sure to check out the playlist, and check out Joevango’s other playlists for more highly curated best-ofs and artist spotlights.
