CEO Trayle does not need no shooter. We highlighted the Atlanta spitter in our 10 Rappers You Should Know column in August of 2020, and his new single “Sucka Free” emphasizes his easy flow and nasty imagery.

Ivorian Doll is a “Boss” in the UK drill scene. Her latest single is three straight minutes of menacing bars where Ivorian Doll recounts long nights in the studio murdering the competition, while keeping it bougie.

One of the most interesting artists in the internet’s pop scene, brakence arrived fully formed in 2020 with punk2, which followed the looser 2018 album, hypnagogia. His yearning and pained new single “cbd” follows “argyle.”

Ivy Sole delivers the buoyant “Call Me,” which showcases their love for entendres and rhythmic flows. “This for the poets that saved my life,” they declare. The single teases their upcoming album, CANDID.

Nigeria’s Adekunle Gold is an Afrobeats titan, and the tenderness of “Mercy” underscores his range. With light production from Blaise Beats, “Mercy” brings serious springtime vibes.

We’ve never heard Kyodi tell a lie. The Kingston native recently blessed the yaad and notched a spot on our year-end playlist spotlighting the most underrated songs of 2021. He kicks off 2022 with the sly callout “Never Lie.”

UK producer Fred again.. connects with The xx’s Romy and London producer HAAi for the digital wonderland “Lights Out.” “Romy’s lyrics and voice are just like a hug from a rave angel,” Fred again.. shared.

Moon Boy Yung Bleu links with Ne-Yo for the emotional “Walk Through The Fire.” Bleu’s booming voice and passionate delivery produces awesome waves atop the orchestral production. If you wanted to get married to a Yung Bleu song, this is the one.
