Memphis rapper Blac Youngsta links up with Audiomack for an interview discussing all things strip clubs and club anthems.
Memphis rapper Blac Youngsta is always good for a strip club anthem, or ten. The artist sits squarely in the tradition of bouncy club tracks and thumping hustle anthems. Blac Youngsta’s music is the life of the party, making him the perfect candidate to have been signed by Yo Gotti’s CMG label back in 2015. It’s been twerk and street records galore ever since. Blac Youngsta linked up with Audiomack to talk all things perfectionism, music videos, which city has the best strip clubs, and more.
“That’s just my type of feel,” Youngsta says when asked the secret to making a perfect strip club album. “I just like being turnt.” Earlier, he admits that he may have taken too serious a turn with his album, Fuck Everybody. His perfectionist attitude siphoned the party out of his party records, so in the years to come, Youngsta made sure both 2.23 and Fuck Everybody 2 had that turnt feel so native to Blac Youngsta and his music.
With the strip club anthem down, Blac Youngsta plans on transitioning into other creative mediums. “I’m planning on doin’ movies,” he tells us. “Just TV, reality shows. Some fun… Whatever it is, I just wanna be successful.”
