South Africa — Jade Kelly Wilson of Breakroom Africa
Founded by Jade Kelly in 2020, Breakroom Africa has grown to encompass groundbreaking editorials, exclusive playlists, and dedicated segments shining a light on creative minorities.
The media company committed to championing emerging creatives across the African continent and extending to the diaspora. Covering topics of music, art, culture and everything in between, the platform aims to amplify the work of Africa's future voices.
Uganda — Shadrack Kisame
Shadrack is a professional media personality with over four years of experience in TV hosting and marketing. Shadrack is also a business manager at Black Market Records, a leading music label in Uganda.
Sierra Leone — Mohamed Sanago aka “Yung Baller”
Sanago, better known as Yung Baller, is an English and Krio singer and producer, from Sierra Leone.
Rwanda/Burundi — Eloi Mugabe
Mugabe was born and raised in Kigali-Rwanda. Starting a career in events and artist management, he has worked with several leading artists in Rwanda. A music enthusiast at the core, he is always looking to elevate a growing, more diverse, music industry in Rwanda.
Cameroon — Eva Ndumbe
Eva Ndumbe is a media personality, music executive at BBoy Records, artist manager, Vice President of the Cameroonian Music Council and of course an Audiomack ambassador. Apart from hosting TV and radio shows, she also hosts a web show called Dope Music where she talks about music business.
Kenya — Abel Zedi
Abel Zedi is a business and entertainment executive from Nairobi Kenya. Initially working with hip-hop artist Juliani in his publishing and talent booking start-up, he later partnered with former Collo Mfalme manager, Wayne Odhiambo to co-found Since 1963 Agency, A creative agency that specializes in marketing and talent management.
Nigeria — Fizzy Obop
Obop, who is the head of Operations at Nextstep music, a music marketing firm setting strong roots across Nigeria and Africa at large, has helped foster conversations and market independent music acts across Africa achieving huge success and working with over 300 music acts cut across different countries in Africa. His dedication to grow the music space has seen him startup various music programs to promote African music.
Ghana — Maxwell Adjavon
Maxwell Adjavon is a music and culture enthusiast based in Accra, Ghana. He enjoys exploring new cultures and finding niche music within the space hence founding The iMullar. His goal is to support emerging artists from the continent whilst changing the narrative around African music internationally.
Zambia — Nova Amandla
Nova Amandla is a Zambian-born and South African-raised songwriter who is also a seasoned entertainment personality actress. She has worked with some of Zambia’s Industry giants, including: tlow, Cream Dollar, Stevo, Slim the hit-maker, Dj Mzengaman. She came to prominence when she was asked to feature on Stevo’s Safe. Nova has been able to have a seven-year career filled with countless collaborations, musical projects, competitions, and creative opportunities.
