Eladio Carrión – Sauce Boyz 2

In 2020, Puerto Rican artist Eladio Carrion released his debut album Sauce Boyz which included the massive hit in collaboration with Bad Bunny, “Kemba Walker.'' After receiving critical acclaim, Eladio gave us the perfect gift this holiday season: the sequel to his debut album, Sauce Boyz 2. This is a refined and more mature second edition. The trap artist explores his creativity and even dabbles in different genres throughout the project, from reggaeton and drill, to the catchy electro pop “Gastar.” Eladio also created an iconic breakup song by syncing up with Karol G on “ No Te Deseo El Mal.” “Alejarme de Ti” is a pop rock inspired collaboration with Jay Wheeler. This star studded project featured some of Latin music’s biggest stars: Arcangel, Myke Towers, and Sech and solidifies Eladio as a rising star.

Ankhal – ANTI JUDAS RELOADED

Since being featured in our 10 Latin Artists You Should Know column, Ankhal has been on his way to becoming one of the Latin music industry’s most promising stars. After the success of his debut album ANTI JUDAS, Ankhal releases a revamped version titled ANTI JUDAS RELOADED where he experiments with innovative trap sounds. “It’s based on the principles of the streets, based on the environment I grew up in,” Ankhal tells Audiomack. “Where I’m from we hate betrayal, we all know what Judas did to Jesus, he kissed him before betraying him.” This version includes two new songs and two remixes, teaming up with Jhay Cortez on the remix to the sultry drill “HOLY SHIT. “Diva Remix” is dedicated to powerful women featuring colleagues Myke Towers, Brray and Lyanno. Whether it’s about women, street life, or haters, Ankhal is always versatile.

Carin Leon – Pistiembre Todo El Año

After his run with Regional Mexican Band Grupo Arrankel, Carin Leon decided to step into his own and go solo in 2018. Since then, the multi-instrumentalist has captivated the attention of Regional Mexican enthusiasts with his powerful rich voice and songwriting abilities. Carin Leon’s live album Pistiembre Todo El Año includes 22 tracks of sierreño, banda, and norteño. Although released in December, Carin wanted to make sure he created a project that everyone can enjoy all 365 days of the year. “Como Que Me Enamoro” describes the story of a man in love over a banda rhythm. “It has been an album that I have enjoyed recording the most, since I was fortunate to collaborate with friends and some of the voices that I have most admired,” Carin tells Audiomack.

The project is divided in half by duets and solo material. The album features many famous names in Regional Mexican music such as El Mimoso Luis Antonio Lopez, and Jovanny Cadena y Su Estilo Privado.

Micro TDH – NUEVE

Micro TDH was discovered when he began freestyling in the streets of his hometown, Mérida Venezuela. In 2017 he released his first album Inefable. Inspired by his belief in numerology, Micro TDH released his second studio album NUEVE to cap of 2021. The title reflects the importance of the number nine in all aspects of his life. Micro TDH plays on rap, ballads, trap and an improvised drill sound on this project. He also made sure to honor his roots on “GORDO RONALDO,” where he boasts about living his life like a freestyler.There is also emphasis on narrating different themes of love, heartbreak, reflection, gratitude and happiness as heard on the emotional “ARRANCAME LA PIEL.”

Even when choosing his features, Micro TDH shows off his versatility by collabing with international artists like Puerto Rican star Myke Towers on reggaeton track “EL TREN.” We also have the pop ballad “EL LOBBY” featuring Spain’s icon Pablo Alborán. NUEVE perfectly embodies Micro TDH’s knack for storytelling and conveying emotions through different genres of music and his journey as an artist.

MC Cabelinho – LITTLE HAIR

After the success of projects Ainda and Minha Raiz, MC Cabelinho releases his long awaited album LITTLE HAIR. The title stems from his name, which is Portuguese for little hair. The project features 17 songs exploring Brazil’s most popular genres. “Trap, rap and funk are brothers. They are styles that come from the community and talk about our experiences,” he says. “ESSÊNCIA DE CRIA” featuring colleagues Bielzin, Mc Poze do Rodo,”and Tz da Coronel, focuses on Cabelinho’s feelings about his origins and his success in music. “EU TE AVISEI,” or “I Warned You” is Cabelinho’s response to those who didn’t believe he would have a successful career in the music industry.

LITTLE HAIR is an ode to Cabelinho’s life and origins, where he brings together Brazil’s most iconic sounds by gathering some of the country’s biggest names and artists on the rise; consolidating not only his but also the entire Brazilian movement’s place in the Latin music industry.
