The highly-anticipated project has been ceaselessly teased over the last month and a half with a seemingly neverending list of singles and videos and today steps out to the world with Noisey. Alongside the project release is the premiere of his latest video for the lead single off the project, "Don't Een Kare" and a write up from Ernest Wilkins who talked with Tree one-on-one about the creation of an album that pulls from the artist's experiences growing up in Chicago's vaunted Cabrini-Green Projects and the life that followed after they were demolished. Utilizing his raspy, pained vocals Tree takes listeners to his part of town, demonstrating the ways he was able to escape his circumstances when many didn't, hence the name 'TrapGenius'.
