Teddy Fontana What You Did Last Night

0:003:21

Produced by Alex “Knox” Harris and Michael James Onufrak (Wyclef Jean, Bryce Vine), “What You Did Last Night” hears Los Angeles-based Fontana exploring the space between modern-day dark pop & old school doo-wop while detailing the trials and tribulations of dating in today's day and age. Her intuitive gift for melody and storytelling is paired with a brooding darker lyrical element. “This song is about being young and in a relationship,” Fontana says about the inspiration behind the song. “Especially in a city like LA, there’s a grey area between what’s okay for your boyfriend or girlfriend to do without you and what’s out of bounds. I wrote this song about how I felt in real-time as my boyfriend was out. I have no reason not to trust him, but my mind wanders into a bunch of what if’s."
