Spring, Cole and Vanessa, three long-time friends, started "The Pitches" a little less than a year ago. After many years in different unique bands, they wanted to do something new and more experimental besides the general rock bands they were used to playing in. As they searched for their own sound they created a combination of several different genres, from soul to electronic. Without a drummer, "The Pitches" create the drums uniquely through beat boxing which brings drum beats to life based on what they "hear" in their head. Each band member plays various instruments and they love the idea of experimenting with different sounds. As a band, we put our minds togerher and like to describe our music as "Neo Soul with a hint of Blues, a splash of Rock, and an Electronic edge.
