Spoiler alert: By the time you read this, today is or May 4 would've marked my 27th birthday (whenever you listen to this mix). As a special gift, I decided to go back to my very first few mixes ever released on Mixcloud, released back in 2014
Part One is a re-working of Episodes 1 and 2 of Series One of #TheVanillaMochaMixx. This was when I was a part of my first (and so far only) DJ coalition called the Almost Famous DJs (hence, the title of this mix, and a drop that you'll hear throughout this mix). This was also a time where I just started out working in the strip club as a DJ, where I wasn't really as good as I would become years later....
Hope you enjoy this one. There's a Part Two forthcoming later on, so be on the lookout
Audiomack is proud to present the Drill Symphony with Chief Keef. Always moving music forward, the Drill Symphony was filmed at Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles, California. With an enchanting ensemble - Summer Swee-Singh on piano, Camille Miller and Yasmeen Al-Mazeedi on violin, Tim Richardson on viola, Eru Matsumoto on cello, and Jon Brick on drums - recording by Jaime Sickora, mixed/arranged/composed by John Cleary, and the whole process shot out by Erikson Corniel, Chief Keef's classics are given new life.
