This song draws out two common social vices in Nigeria and some other developing nations: Police corruption and a broken moral compass regarding how wealth is earned. While this song doesn’t condemn the involved parties, it puts them on the centre-stage for their actions to be examined. We should ask ourselves if we are happy with such a reality or we want to do something to change it. It also attempts to connect the parties in concern with the common man, by referencing the universal struggle for wealth. This is to encourage a more sympathetic view, discouraging the hatred which sometimes fuels condemnations of such social vices.

To say it briefly: we know things are not all right, but instead of acting like we do no wrong, we will strive to sympathetically address our issues as a society.
