Everyone needs help with something. We all have needs and can't overcome our inadequacy without help. God, however, doesn't need help. He understands that we need help. So, He has periodically sent a special person to meet His people's needs. This person can be called a messiah. And He sent Jesus as The Messiah to meet our greatest need.
