Rocky Snyda TRYPOP

Rocky Snyda

TRYPOP by Rocky Snyda and Ocean Cat is a multidimensional Pop EP cycling through the woes and triumphs of love for the modern listener. Each song is a recollection of different lovers. Rocky experienced great feelings for each, and the project illustrates how they played out. Throughout the project, Rocky matures with each lover. TRYPOP is also short for Trypophobia. Trypophobia is an aversion to the sight of irregular patterns or clusters of small holes or bumps which the singer Rocky Snyda is afflicted by. The theme plays to the fear of Rocky making mistakes in love over and over again, going in circles. TRYPOP plays on the fact that this Brooklyn wordsmith is trying Pop, despite being known for making alternative Hip-Hop thus far.
