Optimiztiq

Alex McDonald (born October 24, 1990), better known by his stage name Optimiztiq, a rap artist/composer/producer from Placerville, CA. Studied at Pinnacle College for sound engineering and graduated with honers in September 2010. Optimiztiq moved to L.A. in 2011 to pursue his music career. In 2013 he founded his independent record label Chakra Sound. Optimiztiq has shared the stage with artists such as: Snoop Dogg, Tech N9ne, Andre Nickatina, Smoov-E, Brotha Lynch, Too $hort, E-40, Afroman, Keak Da Sneak, Kurrupt, Warren G, Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun, Cognito, Prof, DJ Quik etc. Optimiztiq delivers strong energy, great analogies, quick delivery with a positive spin on music.
