Daru Jones is one of the most respected drummers of his generation who has recorded, performed, and toured with an eclectic mix of renowned artists and producers, including: Jack White, Pete Rock, Dwight, Slum Village, Talib Kweli, Black Milk, Salaam Remi, Liam Bailey, Gloria Gaynor, Rance Allen, Black Violin, Lorenzo Jovanotti, Jon B, and more recently, Jamie Lidell. A sought after producer and boutique label owner (Rusic Records), Jones is currently touring with superband DMD the Vibes (with wunderkind Marcus Machado & legendary Living Colour bassist, Doug Wimbish) and as Musical Director for Pete Rock & The Soul Brothers.
