The civil rights movement was a struggle struggle for social justice that took place mainly during the 1950s and 1960s for blacks to gain equal rights under the law in the United States. Soon after the Civil Rights Movement, the universe birthed Artist such as James Brown, Curtis Mayfield, The Ohio Players, Marvin Gaye & Michael Jackson to name a few. That spoke about the pain, struggle, discrimination, racism, and everything my people faced in the Jim Crow Era. I selectively choose records that represented the pain, struggle, and Love of my Grandparents/Parents Generation. Happy BHM!
