Boylexxy

Ayomide Alex Olanipekun, better known as Boylexxy, is a Nigerian-American singer born in Lagos, Nigeria. He has always had a love for music, but his music career truly began in 2019 after an impromptu session in the studio with his friends in the house, leading him to release his first official single “Belinda” and “Gbon Gbon” which the beat was found on YouTube. Then followed up with impressive production credits on Peruzzi Change Your Style which made it to his album Rum n Boogie Although Boylexxy was born in Lagos, he lived his early young age there in Agege and schooled in Iju-Ishaga, Fagba. which he credits as the major influence to his afrobeats music style; a blend of Afrobeats, R&B and dancehall elements, which is a sub-genre of music known as “Afrovibe”.
