Chapter V Live is a live rendition of the Chapter V project with the Senku band. It’s a 4 track project with a fusion of Soul, Afro beats, jazz, house, highlife, kpanlogo, and RnB. The project explores the open ended nature of love and it’s complexities, inspired by ‘the mystery girl’ protagonist in Songs of songs, who is very vocal about her desires, and her need to give love and receive love. The songs present love as a giver of emotions rather than an emotion in itself, which would be seen through the visual setup and ambience of the Live set.
