Yung Blaza was born Dec. 4, 1988, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Music touched his heart as an adolescent, around which time he started taking his mom’s recorder to spit lines over beats playing in the background on his boom box. He curated his own style, pulling inspiration form artists, such as Jay-Z, Outkast, UGK, Kanye West and T.I., which led to him being deemed the lyrical champion of freestyle battles in high-school.
Yung Blaza attended college at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where he establish the Wet Bandits hip hop conglomerate and released multiple campus-wide party athems, including “Play Pimpin” and “Wait a Minute.” He master several musical talents by his sophomore year, writing, recording, engineering and producing his ow
