A Bronx native, Donte' Bell was born November 22, 1990. Falling in love with music at a young age, 8 year old Tay Bell's ambitious rendition of Michael Jackson's "Climb Every Mountain" for his church choir was a pivotal point in Bell's musical journey. Prompted by his parents' separation and a change of schools, Bell learned to play a wide variety of instruments including, but not limited to the violin and piano at The Bronx Preparatory Charter School. A dedicated student, and an even more dedicated musician, an effervescent Bell became a member of the schools choir perfecting his most prized instrument, his voice. At 15 Bell interned for Warner Music Group referencing music for a collection of writers. Later he'd go on to pen songs for Jamie Foxx, Ashanti, Sevyn Streeter, and others.
