17 Year Old raised in Newark, NJ & New York,NY, Robert Acevedo AKA Rob Ace was influenced by a lot of drugs and street violence. "Sam" The Mixtape is named after a friend that was murdered in the summer of 2013. After his death, Rob Ace picked up music from pain and stress. Until the winter of 2014 music wasn't being taken as serious as he thought it would be, he then began recording Uptown New York in Washington Heights where he met other rappers like JSO and Jay Spade that pushed him into creating a 18 song project about what his life was like around the time he was hanging with Sam until Sam's death. "Sam" is his first body of music and studio project. He is rumored to drop a collab album with artist and friend JSo named "Chandelier Talk" and then "AfterHours", a follow up to "Sam".
