Baltimore native, Rico “Mobish Rico” Daye is a lyrical genius and a creative wrecking ball, set to take the industry and air waves by force. Using all artistic influences, his debut mixtape, entitled “OvaDose”, draws from cultural and personal experiences, using music as the medium to make his voice heard. Born unto a driven mother and surviving the hard streets of Baltimore, Rico let his past life of poverty, bullying, and prison be stepping stone for the comeback we have the privilege to witness. Inspired by Nas and his debut album “Illmatic”, Rico began cultivating his own writing style and used his gift to release the tension of the constant struggle he faced every day. Remaining resilient in the midst of death, pain, and incarceration, Rico returned better than ever.
