Brooklyn bred, Lawrence Alobi commonly known as “Pluto” is a Nigerian-American artist who was born August 11th to a family of 5. He was raised by his mother, who always strongly instilled the value of education. She had aspirations for him to be a doctor, but he always had an affinity for poetry and music. Even at a very young age, he would always write poems, type them up, and have his mom or siblings read them to see if they understood the message or picture he was trying to portray. He was really big on word play, puns, and the use of similes and metaphors. It wasn't until his late teens that he started transitioning from poetry to music. In his words, “Music is just poetry with a tune to it”.
