Hailing from Bay City, Tx but being raised in Angleton, Tx Darnell "L. Teezy" Sneed has seen his fair share of life's downs. Growing up in the NWA era of hip hop he was influeneced by the freedom of speech that Gangsta rap had to offer, but Texas had a different spin on things with artists such as Fat Pat, UGK, the Suc, and Swisha House. Joining the military at 19 he spent time on the east coast honing his skills and blending styles, he gained the attention of Def Jam in 2006 with his single "Get Off Me" no deal but the young MC gained the attention of Cash Money, Atlantic, and also Universal. With a spot on Beat Bosses Vol.1 and a slew of other mixtapes making him an artist to watch by XXL in 2010. With his 2016 smash "Martial Law" and his new MME brand he sets out to stake his claim.
