Universal, diverse and groundbreaking can be used to describe the artistic style of J.Scott. With an ethnic background that is Native American, African American and Irish, J.Scott was born and raised in Harlem. His love affair of the arts and music began early in life. From dancing at his grandmother's studio at a young age, to then singing in the Honors Choir at his junior high school, and finally studying at Fiorello H. La Guardia High School of Music and the Performing Arts (the infamous “Fame” High School). With a strong foundation of the arts already instilled, Scott experimented and zoned in on all aspects of his musical ability.
