Raised in the 7th Ward on 76th and St. Clair, Melvin “King Mouder” Burton was introduced to music at an early age. At 13, he appeared on his first regional hit “Tushie”, played by various Cleveland DJ's and local radio stations. His first solo mixtape, “Nivlem” dropped April 2012 via Datpiff.com and Coast2CoastMixtapes.com.
Following his solo mixtape, King Mouder partnered with indie label mates Crooked County, dropping Cutthoat Classics in 2013. Fire tracks on this mixtape include the club banger “She Ready”, street classic “All Eyes on Me”, and “Ice Cream Man Pt. 2” inspired by 90’s legend Master P.
