Authenticity is a seemingly lost part of hip-hop music. The need for credibility has been replaced by the need for clicks. Many times, the more offensively an artist can caricature themselves, the more exuberantly they are celebrated.
It is in this absurd world that the duo better known as Greenline exists. Representing Brooklyn and the Bronx, both pivotal areas for the development of hip-hop culture, the expectations for Yung T and K-Reid to carry the torch are high, to say the least. Authenticity is not merely just a buzzword to them, it's all they've ever known.
