Foe Bishop was born in Boston, MA but grew up in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The streets of Northside Apartments raised him with no father figure and his mother died in 2010. Discovering his passion for music in
junior high school, Foe met a local producer Russell Rockwell who was producing tracks for signed artist Nivea, Eightball, and Lil Flip. Rockwell started teaching Foe how to count bars and understand song formats as well as booking Foe as a opening act for Nelly, 50 Cent, and Ludacris. Due to Rockwell's artist roster, he couldn't give Foe the attention he needed so Foe started working with engineer/producer Phil Duckett who produced Heart Of A Champion on Nelly's Sweat Suit album.
