Texas, up-and-comer EMEKA IBE is keeping the brain behind the beats with his new label Genius Minded Music. Bringing an eccentric touch to hip hop the Texas raised emcee, started his journey freestyling over east-coast & southern tracks trying to perfect his sound. Brought up on influences ranging from Brother Ali to Sade, he’s developed an intricate lyrical sound delivered with southern finesse. It wasn’t until he and his childhood friend , YEZNO , entered college that he was able to explore his true sound.
