Tee was born in The North and moved to The South at a young age. Inspired by legends of the music industry, Tee enjoys conveying his own message and taste of music in a way that people can relate to. Priding himself in writing his own lyrics, Tee sees the demeanor in which MC's and artists are mistreated and mislabeled and hopes to clear some of the clouded perceptions of the industry. Being a rapper isn't how tough your front is, how "gangsta" you are, or how hard "your crew" is: being a rapper is being proud of what you do, being able to see that you've impacted someone's life, and feeling a sense of pride with the message you convey to your audience. "Music isn't just a look.... Music is life."
