Cash Me In Da Hood (sometimes referred to, as C M I D H) is a rap/hip hop crew based in Ntuzuma lIndelani outskirts of Kwa-MAshu . It all started back in 2012 when old time friends formed a group called Da Billz with the aim of creating a sound that complements today's urban culture but also educational to all who listen to the music itself. The group originally had 5 members but only 3 remain today. The group was best known for their hit single "Amabhodlela" and "Hlis'amaphaphu"
Which made waves on the streets and got air play on most of the local radio stations and also Gagasi Fm. The crew also worked with an artist from Lesotho and Naycha(Bleomfontein) who has worked with Chad Da Don.
Da Billz took a year break in 2016 due to unexpected circumstances, the 3 members Suup (Msizi Sivatho),
Born on the tiny Caribbean Island of Dominica and raised on the Eastside of Atlanta, 21 Savage, comes from a background of poverty, struggle, crime, and violence. This pain and anger come across as a clear message in his music, do not mess with me or my people.
Starting with his debut mixtape The Slaughter Tape, 21 has developed a sound that is somewhere between Atlanta's Trap and Chicago's Drill as a hyper violent, hyper real view of the Real Atlanta. He has forged meaningful relationships with super producers Sonny Digital and Metro Boomin as well as upstart Fukk-12. His follow-up tape "Free Guwop EP" was a collaboration with Sonny Digital. 21 Savage is quickly becoming the voice of the streets, the voice of the real Atlanta.
