Bruce Allen Jr. (born September 30, 1984), better known by his stage name Bruce Stevens, was raised on the outskirts of metro Detroit by loving parents in the city of Inkster Michigan. He was drawn to music and the arts at the age of 4. Saturday morning cartoons introduced him to the comic book/anime style of art that he made his own. Visualizing life as a storyboard of creation revealing future moments of history, he combined poetry with his art through a collective he branded with the letters BSD. BSD, which is an acronym for "Brilliance Stays Driven" was created to merge all aspects of artistry into one outlet influenced by the brilliance of his creator. On September 30th 2012 he dropped his second independent mixtape The Progression II, an epic follow up to The Progression.
