The 26 year old is from 5th Ward in Houston, a place so special he made it a part of his name. He’s been hailed as one of the area’s most exciting rapper’s and has put 5th Ward back on the Hip Hop map for the younger generation. With a new look and a new sound, he’s known for his melodies and captivating style.
Musically he’s inspired by fellow Southern rappers like Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane and Young Scooter.
JP describes his sound as everything with Houston at its heart! And he’s part of the legendary Houston collective ‘The Sauce Factory’ alongside artists like Sosa Mann, Sauce Walka and Sancho Saucy. Without this collective Hip Hop Culture wouldn’t feature the terms Sauce and Drip!
