Public Enemy is about a man who has a distant love interest that he can’t wait to see but work comes first. No matter what the work is, she supports him whole heartedly, even if the means of making money puts the man at risk of becoming an enemy of the public. His girl is down any means. The song travels through some personal experiences of Alcam’s life which led to the current position he’s in now, becoming a Public Enemy.
